Get a usb hard drive and copy everything to it. Everquest is easy, btw. You can pretty much copy the everquest directory to the new computer and just run it from there with all your settings intact.

Nice system. You'll enjoy it!
Something I do is copy my .ini and .cfg files to my cloud storage. I back them up every couple of weeks. This only saves your settings. It does not save the game files. In the case of unrecoverable data loss or hardware failure, you still have to re-download the game files unless you have them backed up elsewhere.
To save your configuration and .ini files, open your EQ directory folder, right-click a blank area and click Sort By > Type. Scroll down until you find the Configuration Settings files. Select all these files. Copy them and paste them into your cloud storage. (I use OneDrive, but any cloud storage will work)

Don't need with this stuff man if you don't know what you're doing.

sorry phone autocorrect :-P
meant to say don't mess* with bios/uefi stuff
sounds like your boot sector is hosed, or some other hardware issues. try a repair with your windows media.
is this a new computer or old?
