No danger about Miami, UF never know SEC East is so weak this year UK may actually come in 4th or if they get really lucky 3rd. USC and GA both are down, and Vandy, well its Vandy I dont need to say anymore.
I went to the Central Michagan game saturday and if the Cats come out and play the whole game against USC like they played the first quarter they will do well. If UK plays like they normally do they will leave the field midway through the 3rd quarter.
Miami may not even have a winning conference record. They are that bad.

Coker is already done in Miami, they are looking seriously at the Rutgers coach after the break out year they have had so far. If Miami doesn't have a winning conference record, they will absolutely not have a winning overall record.
As for the SEC, the east is very weak this year. LSU & Auburn are the cream of the crop in the SEC and I am confident LSU will prove that this weekend when they travel to Gainesville and boil over the swamp. UGA is barely beating opponents they should demolish.
Not saying FSU is doing much better. Jeff Bowden needs to be buried underneath the 50 yard line. Then when Chuck Amato gets fired from NC State, Bobby can bring him back as his O-coordinator. Granted he was on the other side of scrimmage when he was at FSU before, but a deaf, dumb, blind women's cricket player could call plays better than Jeff Bowden does and at least Chuck Amato knows what good looked like.
I really am looking forward to the end of the year when there is total anarchy in the bowl system. If you think people were pissed last year when FSU made the BCS with 4 losses and Boise State didn't with 1, just wait until this year when a one loss team is playing for the NC.

Ok, now one of you SEC fans explain to me in english and objectively why SEC has 5 teams ranked in the top 20. Who have they played that earns them that ranking?
Careful, the two toughest schedules in the NCAA belong to Miami and Oregon. Thats according to ESPN and Fox Sports.
Im only asking because of all divisions in the NCAA, no other fan base claims that thier division is the #1 division in the nation.

Playing in the SEC alone means you have a tough schedule. Take LSU for example. They have to play Auburn, Alabama (not a gimmie game, but almost for LSU), Florida, possibly UT not sure abut the Bayou Bengals schedule. I know they got the cats in a couple weeks down there, thats going to be a nightmare game for them, but that was a loss before the season even started.
The SEC generally has at least 2 teams with 1 loss or less, and on some occasions they have 3. I can remember one year that there was a 3 way tie for the SEC east with GA, UF, and UT all with 1 loss in the division. The fan base is also bigger in the south. There really is no other conference that dominates the market areas. Unlike out west were the Pac 10, Wac, and Mountain West are all intermingled. As well with the Big 10 and Mac. The Big East and ACC used to butt heads but the ACC really doesnt have as much competition anymore with them stealing teams from the Big East. The Big East basically competes with C-Usa markets.

Obviously the true litmus test will be how many teams from each conference win their bowls against other conferences and how many teams from a particular conference end up ranked at the end.
It's funny how everyone was saying the FSU-Miami game on Labor day was a preview of the ACC Championship game and now its looking very much like its gonna be Clemson vs Georgia Tech.
As for the SEC, I think this weekend will be a big test. If LSU beats Florida (which I predict) and UT beats Georgia (which pretty much everyone predicts) both of which would be home losses for arguably the 2 best SEC east teams, what does that say for half of the conference. To me it says the conference is very one sided. It would mean that LSU & Auburn are the cream of the crop in the conference and happen to be in the same division. It would be a real shame if the SEC championship game would be between Auburn or LSU and a team not ranked in the top 15. I thought that last year when FSU won the ACC championship game it was a slap in the face to the ACC. I love FSU, I graduated from FSU, I never missed a home game in my tenure at FSU and went to almost half of the road games and all but one bowl while I was there, BUT FSU was not a national power last year and for them to win the conference and end up in the BCS with 4 losses was a disgrace and embarassment to how weak the ACC appeared throughout the nation. This year though, we look a lot better, but not with our traditional powerhouses. Times are changing and parity is definitely coming across college ball. The days of Paterno & Bowden and having a coach with a 10+ year tenure as a coach are coming to an end. It is all about how much can you do now and then get out while on top.

Wow what a difference a couple weeks makes. Sorry Shey but welcome to the world of next year. I lived in this world for 5 years in school at FSU. Nowadays I live in the world of we want a new O coordinator. Then again I could live in Miami's world.
USC lost to arguably the easiest of three schools left on its schedule and still has three tough games left.
UF & Auburn are gonna play in Atlanta to see who deserves to play the OSU/UM game winner for the National Champ. WVU & Louisville play each other, but 100% deserve to be on the outside looking in on the final game.
I will say this I have seriously thought about changing my alma mater. Bobby Bowden needs to fire and then disown his youngest son Jeff. Jeff is the anti-christ walking & breathing. He does less with more talent than any coordinator in the country. FSU is seriously looking at the extreme likelihood of losing every game down the stretch with the exception of Western Michigan. They play UVA, Wake Forrest & Florida all in Tallahassee. In talking with a friend who is a Miami fan he at least takes solice in the fact that at the end of the season, at least they can fire their head coach. Saint Bobby on the other hand will walk away from his job when he wants to and unfortunately will hang on to Jeff Bowden until that day.

I've not paid much attention to football in the past but I've decided that the Arkansas Razorbacks are the team to root for...
And I think most of the women (and a few of the men) will agree with me...
Arkansas Razorback players Clarke Moore, Brett Goode and Casey Dick

Pegi that was goode stuff!
Dalla as long as Louisville beats Rutgers on Thursday and they win out, they will play the winner of OSU/UM for the National title. No other team really deserves a shot when you have several solid undefeated teams still in the hunt regardless of what confrence they are from. Its like the idiots that are saying USC still has a shot to play in Glendale. Umm, yeah not gonna happen. If Louisville loses to Rutgers then Texas will jump to #2 and hold it as long as they win the Big 12. Those are your 4 real contenders at this point for an appearance in Glendale.
