Congratulations
I was talking to Quell the other day and he filled me in on some of the goings on. Good to hear your still kicking ass. Then I decide to post on the message board and find out you made a whole new one
I got a good laugh hearing how some of the "high end" encounters work, and the fact that you've finally found a use for all those damn enchanters.
Anyhow, just thought I'd drop in and give credit where it's due. The members made EiE, you guys are the best.
Lets see, things that need to be said about the old officers...
Dalla's a Ho
Ema really doesn't cyber... much.
I honestly liked Roku
Shis is almost a dentist!
Chania, Greece 2006 - need hotel room!
and last but certainly not least....
I hear from a very good yet anonymous source that Jeet sounds just like a 14 year old asian girl on Teamspeak!
Even if it's true man, you're still the best.

Hah. You know, god is not without irony.
It wasn't all that long ago you were giving me shit for quitting (especially why I quit), and here I am, all ready to give you the same shit for quitting for the exact same reason (from a very good anonymous source).
So let's hear it from the horses mouth, where you been?
Good to hear from you anyway if you disappear for years again. Hows the house?

Life is Good, I can't complain.
And in order to explain everything it'd be a Dalla-esque post which I can't bring myself to do. So to sum up.
Jeet:
Your source is full of shit. Hell, I wish I had fallen in love and ran off to la la land. I did meet this little Russian hotty shortly after my disappearance but she had nothing to do with it. In fact right around that period I had to go an entire month with a blow up doll On the plus side it was the Kimber(tm) Doll. (for you Nip/Tuck fans) The poonanie was not the issue however.
My intial absence (right when Quarm died) was that I took on a project for my dad's business, and of course it turned out to be a lot more work than I thought. Then I got a the travel bug and visited a few countries I'd always wanted to see. (I even saw the island of Chania, just never made it to land there). Nice weather in the states had kicked in, Volleyball, Basketball, and jumping out of airplanes repeatedly was required. That kinda ended abruptly when dear old mom had a breakdown and started talking to people who weren't there. (All better now no worries).
Women were involved of course, even a few painted ladies, and one with a LOT of piercings. But sadly my reason for leaving wasn't so heart-warming as yours
Now as for why I didn't come back once I had the time...
I'd completely planned on getting GoD and making a full comeback, I think I even told some people I was coming back. I got access to the DevBeta boards for GoD to get a leg up, which is when I read some news that most "raid" encounters were being limited to 54 people. Now initially I was like most people, "what the fuck", but as I read on it got even better. The basic jist of it all being, that Sony decided on 54 because it was "easier" for them to code a balanced/challenging encounter for that number of people. At that point it pretty much clinched it for me that I'd never return, because everyone who participated in that discussion on the "CUSTOMER" side said, "hello, we've got a guild of 70-100 active people, becuase of the way you guys coded the Rathe encounter, what do we do?" And the Sony's response ... split your guilds in half.
It became glaringly obvious to me that Sony didn't give a shit about their customers having "fun" anymore, they just wanted more stringent control on how fast we progress through their content. I think about two days later, after stewing about it I cancelled my account.
Time raids, having to tell 30 people to sit on their ass was annoying enough for me. Sony knew damn well it slapped us in the face with the 72 man raid, and then they go ahead and make GoD 54, which was basically like trying to put it in my ass. I ain't no homo. The part that really burned me up, the entire reason for this was becaue it made it easier for their DevTeam. Now that's what I call customer service!
Anyways, I still play other games, I've tried out just about every other MMORG out there. Hell I'm still killing people in Camelot on occassion. I just personally don't want anything shoved up my ass.
Oh, and I will be playing WoW.
Now don't get all gloomy and doomy on EQ after reading that. It's still by far the best MMORG I've ever played, nothing has compared, except maybe being able to kill an Alb.
Holy shit, I did make a Dalla Post Damn you people.
This changes nothing Dalla is still a Ho.
