"You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall, you need me on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it." - Colonel Jessep

Arguing politics is a sure fire way of deciding nothing, and aggravating everyone. 9/11 was a tragedy, we all agree, and the war in Iraq hasn't been a bowl of cherries either, we can all agree there. After that, you're in no man's land. Let's not let it degenerate into something I need to lock.

Maybe you need a reminder.
Iraq has what to do with that?
Iraq has provided safe haven and support to terror organizations. Hell Sadam's government was one of them, how else does one explain torture rooms as standard features to his homes and government buildings. Why I agree that the Iraq war has not gone as well as it could have. The other option is to turn the entire Middle East into glass and sand. I still do not understand why the USA does not just take oil in compensation for all the schools hospitals water supplies farms ect that have been built for the Iraq people. The entire head in the sand attitude that seems prevalent in the USA is shameful. One must hope for the best and prepare for the worst. One does not wait for tragedy to tap them on the shoulder, but instead works to prevent it at all costs.
