Thank You...
I just wanted to drop a quick note in your forums after a wonderful gaming session this past Saturday.
I played EQ in the past started right around Kunark's release and played a mage (Kaeyla Striptease for any that might have been on Rodcet waaay back when). I was usually raiding with a guild called Axiom Shift. Anyway, I quit after Luclin came out, as I was a bit too consumed by EQ and needed to prioritize =).
Fast forward 5 years later, I rolled up a new bard in November and have been playing about once a week, limiting my play time to Saturdays for the most part.
This past Saturday, April 19th, I grouped with a few members of your guild and just wanted to let you know that they were the type of players that make EQ/EQ. They were friendly, courteous, and played their classes wonderfully. I truly enjoyed my time with them and wanted to pass on a friendly hello. Not sure which ones are mains or alts, but again, just wanted to pass on a thank you for being great players:
- SmokieX
- Brekthar
- Nimamok
Other memorable people from your guild.
- Hazinson
I'm sure there are others, but these were the last people I've had interaction with and were just greatly impressed.
And if Keyes needs anyone to mentor, just call me Squire! Should you all ever need on Saturdays, please just look me up. I'm always available to help.
Sincerely,
Rany Dais (80 Bard)[/list]

I remember Kaeyla (with a last name like Striptease, how can you forget?) and I certainly remember Axiom Shift. Glad you enjoyed your time with our members, you'll find most of them to be similar in temperment. Like Haz said, if you need a hand, just shout!

Familiar Name
It goes both ways. If you ever need an extra warm body, just holler. I always enjoy seeing new things and meeting new people. I'm in a small "guild" which is made up of 4 RL friends, only about 3 of them play consistently, so most of the things we do are single groupable.
Recently, they haven't been playing on Saturdays, which has left me a bit bored LFGs =). We'll see how things progress in the future.
Yes Chania, your name is very familiar. Not sure where I remember it from...but I'm sure back in the Rodcet days.

Glad to see you had a good time. That kinda reminds me of the good 'ole days of EQ as well - pick up a group of folks, some of which you never met, and grind some xp. Lots of xp, a little loot, and the bard dies a few times. Everyone wins! Smok and I are often on during the weekends (if weather is not too inviting at least). Catch you around!

Alright
I guess its time to put in an application =). Haz, what we talked about yesterday looks promising. The two people I spoke to you about sound like they have an interest. I'll talk with them more in RL and let them know to talk with you.
I've asked them to send you a tell though in game to discuss it more with you.

Woot a bardling. Well, my attitude towards a level 80 bard or any high end player regardless of class is all they need is acclimation to the new environments they aren't use to. Anyone who has the passion to level a character up to level 80 has learned how to play that class now all you need is the equipment and experience of high end raiding.
I'm glad you had a positive experience with my fellow guildmates, I'm just glad you weren't exposed to Chubz.
Haz is just trying to get the odds higher that a bard will be in his group so he can do 40K nukes more often, LOL. Dead Wizzies however don't usually have great dps stats.
