After some boredom and longing for some EQ level challenge I reactivated my alt account since it was the only one I had left. I do not want to be a prick and ask for Heemann back from the guy I let take him over. So if any of you old timers remember me, look for Edgetheow in game. He's a 71 Vah Shir Warrior. Will probably work on lvling up to 85, grinding aa's, completing old quests like epic 2.0, flags, etc. Shoot me a tell if want or feel like tagging along. Adios muchachos.

Ok, I got spoiled playing a little bit of other games. I forgot in EQ you actaully have to get a group to grind the higher end. Warriors suck for dps, and since he mooched exp from Heemann, his tank skills are pretty lackluster too. Trying to learn this merc cleric thing I went to some of the old zones we were doing when I left. Undershore, Icefall, etc. It took me 15 minutes to drop a light blue solo and when it ran, I was toast. God, time to farm silken whip of ensnaring or anklesmasher. Maybe Heemann just spoiled me. He could heal, nuke, melee dps, pet was like a duo partner, slow, haste, pet snare. LOL

Actually I don't know if the Heemann character is active. He was moved off to another server and name was changed. I don't know what it is now.

Just an update...Edge is about to hit 82. 126aa what he had when I restarted him. Haven't had as much time to play as I though. Did get the iksar mask from tasks in FOS though. So slowly but surely working my way up. Boy I miss slow and a pet. HAHA

damage shield potions against an unslowed npc... let them kill themselves!

and you can then just keep a bunch on you while your merc keeps you alive. oh, and if you keep a fresh one on you the one that's almost dead won't run away....

oh and AT the effect going off cause they are low DPS weapons but you can use two, my warrior has always had a snare band and has never had a runner...

AT is "has been ensnared" then you band back to yer DPS weapons... can do the same thing with the slow hammer the tash stick etc
they gave warriors alot of cool proc weapons back in the day...

Yeah I have the anklesmasher, slow stick, and a few fungus glands for slow and snare. But waiting on them to proc...gah. I miss just sicking the pet on them casting slow dotting them and beating them down.

Just thought I would update a little. Edgetheow now 84, 17% from 85. Close to being Void D and E flagged. Need 2 fights I believe. Have to double check which ones. Down to last fight on epic 2.0. Not bad for someone who plays once or twice a week. hehe
