Yes, I know.. the rumors and sightings are not false. It is true, I have decided that I must come back and put at least some time every week into EQ.
It may only be raiding 2-3 hours a time but hopefully I can stretch it some after I get used to it again.
Why was I gone?
Well, quite simply, WORK!
Back in November last year, they cut my management staff from 1 salaried competent person and 1 hourly competent person and 1 hourly incompentent person to just the 2 hourly people (1 competent/1 not).
This left me and the 1 good assistant I had to take up the slack that we were already splitting from the lazy guy + the really good job the salaried person did. I kept it going a while but eventually.. my days went
as thus... Work 730-5 or 6, then home to nap, then dinner, then typically i'd chat online or watch a movie till i pass out shortly after.
I did manage to take a good 12 day vacation overseas but when I came back from that.. the time change really f'd me.. I had told a few folks I was coming back next week, then poof, I'd sleep instead..
but finally i managed to get home today and set up my new headphones while trying to get logged in and poof.. time to raid.. It was a great time.. glad to be back.. glad I still know some folks by name..
