Hello from the past

Post by Rany »

I like to stop in from time to time and brush off the dust. Just seeing how things are going for you all?

In real life accomplishments:
Married for 7 Years
2 Children (julia 4 and aaron jr 2 on Halloween)
Moved to Texas from Louisiana
Loving Life

In game accomplishments (since EIE):
Played Warhammer until end game (blah)
Played AION until end game (blah)
Have not gamed in about 6 months - might try out star wars.

Your friend,
Aaron (Rany Dais - Bard)

I really enjoyed EQ. I think the hardest thing for me was the time sink. It never was a casual gaming environment, as in it wasn't one of those games you could log in for an hour or two and get much accomplished. Warhammer and AION both offered this aspect. Although the games themselves lacked, I did enjoy the concept for the casual gamers.

I don't think EQ will ever fix that, but why should they, they have a niche market and do very well.

I miss playing with EIE though, I have yet to find a guild that is anywhere near the family-friendly environment that EIE presented.
