Where to Social membership?

Greetings again friends and sentients, trolls and hobbits....and Chubz.....
I'm back, baby. What has the world come to, so many years later and any game I want to play at my fingertips, and the only one I want to, is old school EQ. SO I have been in game for about a week now, familiarizing myself with what I can that has changed, and looking over a very aged and lonely friends list. So I do a w/ all echoes every once in a while, and sure enough I see at least 4 or 5 names from my past.

I'd like to join you guys on a social basis as I find my way again. I left right after we beat Anguish, so I'm capped with lvl 70 poTime and Anguish gear, definetly have a grind ahead, but it seems I'm ready for it enough.
So i was wondering where I should post my social membership application? Or if someone would rather talk to me in person. I know Vendy talked to Chania a few days back, maybe a week. If he sees me with the EiE tag on I bet I can actually get him to come back regular too, heh.

Anyway, I miss a lot of you guys (well, most of you Ferricean, meh...Filthy Spaniard). And I would love to get in touch, even if there isn't room for me in EiE I would love to take advantage of the new voice options in game and chat with some of my old friends! I look forward to hearing from you, and I am ready to submit an app whenever, just don't know where to put it.

This thread can help you with a "Social" application: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8192 . For future reference, please investigate the threads made available to you in order to see if you can find the information you need. We have a Forum area specifically made for application posts.

Yeah I have that post open in the next tab over, but it does not specify where I should post the app, nor has anyone posted in the 'Applications" section except Qadain, nor do I see a great deal of application posts anywhere.

So I'm guessing you meant to say "Feel free to use this post/forum to app." Right?

Make a new topic in the Application thread using the most recent social application example written by Qadain. It doesn't have many posts in it because we've been updating new applicants fairly quickly. We move threads around depending on where you stand in the process. If you have any friends that are currently social or raiding members then I would suggest you speak to them regarding the process. That's the easiest way to get to know EIE.

It also helps to make your account name reflect your character's name, unless this is the name of your character.

Social / Raid Applicant Level class charactername is a good way to name your topic (E.g., Raid Applicant 100 Paladin - Delfino)

My first official death since I returned , was awesome :

Grinding with necro in loping plains, notice I lost all my buffs, and am at 1% mana, hey look a mage rod, no problemo I'll just click this right here and cast Voice of whatever on my fat chanter butt and I'll be good to go.

BAM. 23,000 points of damage. Mirrors has dieded. (only have 12k hps about unbuffed)

So classic. I killed myself with a mage rod. lol.
