update: Found where to change my preffered dns server but it's telling me my addresses are invalid. I tried those. (4.2.2.2) e.g.

Sony Online Entertainment neglected to pay their domain registrar bill which is like 2 months over due.

They paid it and seem to be setting **** up slowly but surely.

Will take anytime from NOW up to 72 hours for everything to be restored.

This includes:
SoE Websites
SoE Patching
SoE Login Servers.

As in, no EQ or any other sony game til they sort their stuff out!

That's not really accurate ...

The "setup" took about 15 seconds... a simple "redirect authority to this guy" configuration. Everything else was already in place.

The thing which takes time is propagation throughout the internet. Not all people allow their DNS servers to be refreshed immediately... many smaller providers with more "vulnerable" DNS servers will set them to only allow refreshes from Akamai and such ONCE every 24-hours. This is what slows things down when a dumbass doesn't change contact info at a namespace registrar.

Don't sweat it folks... like I said, most people will be good to go. Very few should have to follow any DNS-server reconfig magic.

Reputable and reliable DNS servers are as follows. I *always* recommend using the servers provided by your ISP, due to geo-location AND due to maintenance reliability (Level(3) and Google don't have any obligation to anyone to keep these running)... but these are very stable:

well i changed to dns in my pfsense ...nada even had it where only use those dns and not the isp dns ...nada
