Yup yup it's about a years since i stuck my head in last time so I guess it was time again.. I'm impressed that some of the originals is still around..
And Argor the gnome you're thinking of was Eintik I was the highelf.. But I guess you were too busy coughing up all those hairballs.

To date I still remember most parts of that fear raid although som parts of it was always a haze. And I remember ALL those times having to mez those stupid snakes for the VT keys.

No way! I remember VERY well that you played a pale-elf. I were however making a subtle joke on enchatters and their illutions.

Just typical of them "wise" elves, if you ask me...

I forgot to mention #echoesrn on EFNet IRC servers.

Still chatting there, though for some reason it's 10 - 15 norwegians there and no active EQ original players left. You're still free to drop by in though. And don't mind the norwegian squabble. 'tis just us mocking you stiff guys still stuck with EQ :p

Good old days? By the time of Fat Wall, EQ was oooold already :p

Now, the time of Fine Steel weapons, aahhhhh.... Gatorsmash, oooh, the class-armour that took #?&#% long time to complete. The epic when EQ was rather grown bit still kind of young (Kunark). I remember seeing my first piece of armour with health: +15 HP. I knew that'd inflate, and now you're up to several hundred on each piece! Now back when I was young, we had to start with a rusty dagger, and with it we had to mow a path through the snow from Halas to Blackburrow, only to have our assed owned by lvl 6 mobs!
