The Head Wench tells me that it's too early to begin The Heir's lexicological education... considering he's still struggling to simply speak.
I say, "Balderdash!"
I need your support. Tell her I'm right, and that it's never too early to begin learning other languages and why they work.

Re: The Heir Visits the Beach ...
The younger the better. An infant's brain is like a sponge... he will soak up all this knowledge. As we age, learning becomes more difficult because we have already developed "one way" to learn things. Especially true in dialects. If I had only allowed my mom to teach me her native tongue (Spanish) and my dad to teach me his (Japanese), I'd have learned 3 languages before I was 5 with the possibility to expand that to even more "similar" languages (Potugese, Italian, etc.). Now, I am barely capable of speaking English!
It is never too young, Harem Lord. Let the Heir learn, I say!
I'll also add, that my 2.5 year old grandson, while not able to clearly speak yet knows his colors, shapes, animals/animal sounds and can count to 20. In both English and Spanish. Never too young!
