Don't worry Kyrro.
Miami barely walking away with a comeback win over FSU, and Louisville, and FSU lost to Miami and barely came away with a win over Syracuse.
Neither can boast about our teams really this year so far.
Will ACC have a conference playoff game for the top two this year or not since there's 11 teams?

I would consider FSU's win over Virginia pretty significant. I think it shows that when we finally have a quarterback that doesn't single handedly hand the game over to the opposing team we are a very powerful team. You just know Miami is looking at Wyatt Sexton right now going PHEW. As far as ACC playoffs go, it more than likely is going to happen next year when BC joins the most powerful conference in the country.

I'll rank mine by what conference I feel has the most teams that could beat any other team in college football on any given day.
1. Big Ten (Wisc, Mich, Purdue, Minn)
2.Big 12 (OU, Texas are top two in nation right now without a doubt)
3. Acc (Miami, FSU, Virginia)
4.Pac 10. never thought they'd be this high (USC, Cal)
5.SEC (Auburn maybe Georgia)

I still like the SEC over any other confrences. Problem there is after they are done beating up on each other there is not much left to deal with other conferences in bowl games.
1. SEC
2. Big 10
3. Big 12
4. Pac 10
5. ACC
Each conference has a couple of teams that can go up against anybody, but the SEC has the most quality teams.
The BCS still throws me into fits. There are a good 5 or 6 teams that have a chance to go undefeated this year. I know there is still a lot of football left to play, but what is going to happen if/when USC,OU, Miami, Auburn, Wisconsin all go undeafeated? Hell, those are just the "BCS conference" teams. Utah and Boise State are undeafeated too. Say you get the match ups of 11-0 teams. USC vs OU, Miami vs Auburn. Pick your two, my winners would be OU and Auburn. What do you do then? Why does OU get to be #1? Because they won the Orange bowl and not the Sugar bowl or Rose bowl? And the BCS may not match them up like that either. The top 2 are for sure gonna hook it up, so with the current polls, either OU or USC go undefeated. If the other teams don't get matched up you could end up with 3 or even 4 undefeated teams. So, because USC and OU were ranked #1 and #2 preseason, everyone else gets the shaft. Since the inception of the BCS there have been two years I thought the champion was more or less clear cut. OU over FSU and Miami over Nebraska. Even then, the #2 team that got in there was some contention over. But your #1 team after the bowls was the only unbeated team.
Anyone watch the Mizzou/Texas game? Tigers got away with a hella cheap shot that put Vince Young out of the game, at least for a while. Linebacker took 3 steps after Young threw a pass and hit him, helmet under Youngs chin. No one noticed because they were watching the Tiger DB who intercepted the pass run wild. WTF is up with the cheap shit in college football? Saw the kid from Ohio State choking the QB from Wisconsin under the dog pile last year. What has happened to sportsmanship?

Nuff said, didnt say I earlier my enemy is the BCS? Sure they got the 'Canes ranked 2nd, and that makes me happy, but its because of whom they played up til now, and how well those teams are doing. Each time FSU, or Louisville win and climb in the standings now, Miamis SoS gets better and boosts their standings in the BCS. Is it fair? No, but I like where they are jockeyed in at 2nd. It just means that the lil guys will never get their shot at the BCS round unless divine intervention rules supreme in far too many scenarios, and head to head scheduling is non-existent for those top 6 teams although there are some decent match-ups that could trip a team or two.
The BCS is the devil.

USC still has UCLA, which is a big rivarly thing where talent matters a little less than heart and guts. Same for their game with Notre Dame. Miami still has VT and Virginia. The way Texas A&M is playing right now, I don't know if anyone can go to College Station and win, but OU has to do that and we have Oklahoma State. Auburn has Georgia left and Alabama, which is a big rivarly for them. OU and Auburn still have a conference title game left if they win out. It is possible for none of these top 4 BCS teams to win out. Looking at schedules and opponents, I think Wisconsin has the best chance to win all of their remaining games, though all 5 teams could also end up undefeated. They are all that good. No offense to the "mid-major" schools, Utah and Boise State, but I think we would all agree if they played in any of the top 5 conferences we rated that none of them would end up with less then 3 losses.
I agree with Kyrro. If I were him I would be happy as hell Miami got #2. I also thing the BCS is the devil. In the over all scheme of things, I would like to see 2 or 3 undefeated teams after the bowls and force the play off question a bit harder.

Well I did at least say I didnt think Miami deserved their spot in the rankings, and with 3 dreadful wins that should have been losses (FSU, Louisville, NC State), it was only a matter of time before someone tripped up Miami, but good Lord, North Carolina?
And where the hell are all the mean drubbing posts directed at me for the 'Canes losing to the Tar Heels? Let me remind you, were talking about football here, NOT basketball!
