BOARD RE-ARRANGEMENT

I am in the process of re-arranging the board, adding new sections etc. This thread is for feedback, technical issues you may come across, including no longer having access to boards you previously did, and any other issues.

May I suggest updating the Welcome to Echoes letter to include the names of the current officers, if not already done so over the last few weeks? Thanks for all you guys are doing, everything is looking organized and is coming along nicely. Keep up the good work, I appreciate your every effort!

only thing, some things in the fm section, like dkp is not where all raiders can see

and some things i think should be for fm only, and i'd include some of our social folks

i'll try to get this more ordered
just to get this idea out

I'm playing around with the permissions to get apps able to see DKP corrections and Strats, etc. Good points!

I just tried posting on a couple of the Hall of Strategy threads and I forget the specific wording but I think they may have to be "approved" before they go through. This appears to be a fairly recent change. Is this permission change uniform throughout for all raiding members or only select raiding members? Seems like delays such as this could be counter productive to providing constructive feedback in strat discussion threads.

It's not intentional. I've had this same conversation with several people... so, forgive me if I come across as annoyed.

Ahh good. So you guys are aware of it and I assume looking into it. Good to know But I wouldn't make the assumption that we will realize it's obviously not intentional. Because many of us are new and are still getting acquainted with EiE's management style. Based on older threads I read, past management style seemed a bit more controlling and like a dictatorship. Was resistant to change, had leadership drop of the face of the map, and went through a raiding drought.

It's good to know that is not the case now, that EiE has taken a new direction, and us knew folks can be a part of it and contribute in a meaningful way, not only in game, but in the message forums as well.
