By some stroke of good fortune, I have been cast as a Singaporean pirate in Pirates of the Caribbean 3!
(The only acting I've ever done was the 1st grade Christmas play.) I was originally supposed to be an extra, but they had me audition for a better part, which I somehow got.I don't know the details of the role yet (like, do I have any lines?), but I do know that the group of pirates I am in will be under the command of Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley, maybe I'll get to meet her!). However, the group is called "Sao Feng's Pirates," and Sao Feng is being played by Chow Yun-Fat, so I'm not sure how it'll all work out. And some of my scenes might be filmed in the Bahamas, not sure yet. Look for me on the big screen in about two years, if you can recognize me - I'll have a moustache, beard, and prosthetic teeth, but look for the skinny guy with the longest braid.
Heh, I kinda miss playing EQ. I was thinking of seeing whether or not my account has been deleted yet (it's been over 7 months since Altoid gave it up I think)...but my PC is still crap...although I heard they do cross-platform transfers now (I have a G5 tower now), and the top Mac guild hasn't finished Luclin yet. It won't be the same as being in EiE though. And I doubt I'll have time to play once filming begins next month (they said they need me for ~12 months).
